Folding Fan
The Folding Fan has developed as one of Japanese most original products. The origin is not clear but it can be traced back to the beginning of the Heian era (784-1184). Later, it spread to China, where it changed greatly. Until that time, paper was applied on only one side, but in China, paper started to be applied to both sides, and the Folding Fan was reimported to Japan.
