Incense

Incense

We sell Japanese traditional incense and incense that matches our modern life style. Please enjoy this fine Japanese fragrance.
Incense creates quality time and a nice atmosphere. Incense also brings us peace and comfort. Incense was first used in ancient Mesopotamia, and then spread to east and west. In Japan, the Japanese sense of the exquisite produced a special culture called 'Koudo' (incense burning). Elegant habits entered daily life such as enjoying the aroma from incense burned in cloth, and letting incense burn slowly in rooms. It is also said that when warriors took to the field, they used incense from aromatic trees to calm themselves and to aid mental concentration, and they put the aroma in the armor that they wore to the battlefield. Nowadays, many new fragrances, which fit the modern lifestyle, are produced. The world of fragrance holds an enormous, universal attraction. Please enjoy Japanese traditional fragrance or modern aromas. We also have accessories such as incense stands etc.
  1. Stick type: The smoke drifts up calmly and slowly, and the fragrance spreads equally. The burning time can easily be adjusted by breaking the stick to the desired length.
  2. Cone type: As the fire moves down the cone, the smell gets stronger. This is the best type when you want the fragrance to spread in a short time. As the incense burns it retains the cone shape without breaking up, so it is easy to use because the ash is not scattered.
  3. Spiral type: The fragrance spreads equally and you can enjoy the aroma for long time. This is the best for a big space or a place with a lot of moving air. If you want to stop the burning in the middle, you can break the stick.
How to use incense
Use a non-flammable holder, light the end of the incense and put out the flame, then allow it to smolder. Burning time and volume of smoke depend on the flow of air and the method of burning. Note: Please be careful when handling fire. Make sure there isn't anything burnable around. Do not use the incense for another purpose. Make sure it is kept safe and out of reach of children.
