The twine incorporates original dyed silk thread in the warp and the woof, and is interwoven with gold and silver thread using special skills and techniques. Nishijin textile material has been an important silk fabric since the early modern age that began in the middle of the 15th century. It symbolizes Japanese fabric, and is considered to be the best among high quality silk fabrics. It is an especially popular fabric for making the Kimono and its belt. The Kimono-cushion has three designs: a lucky golden cloud design, a design showing a range of mountains surrounding the old capital, and a mountain image of Arashiyama, including maples. Both sides and the back have four colors: yellowish brown, green, gray, and russet. Please choose the variety you prefer.
